One more newsletter?!

There are many great tech newsletters out there and lately I’ve been struggling to keep up with all of them. Sometimes articles are super relevant for me and sometimes not that much. Some bring immediate value I can apply right away and others do not. With the limited reading time I need to sacrifice reading some articles in favor of the ones that are either very relevant or super valuable for me. At the moment I do not have a good framework to do that.

This newsletter attempts to help techies with similar pain points. It is a digest of the top tech newsletters. With it, you get a list of all the latest articles from top tech newsletters and a short description summarising the article. For each, I will attach some metadata that should help you prioritize your reading.

  • Audience for which the article is most relevant (software engineers, engineering managers, etc.).

  • Value that you will get from the article.

  • My very subjective rating.

I will try to focus on reading only authors/articles that I find are high-quality tech content. Subjective rating is there to help you make a decision on which articles are “skipable” and which ones are not. Below is the meaning behind the ratings.

  • ⭐ - You will not miss a lot if you skip it

  • ⭐⭐ - Well worth your time, if you have time read it

  • ⭐⭐🌟 - Rare gem/burst of inspiration, you must read it

Community

With the rebirth of newsletters as a medium, we are witnessing an explosion of great tech newsletters. Tech newsletters cover a broad range of topics, from nuances of specific programming languages and insightful system design concepts to advice on career growth, communication, presentation, etc.

This publication aims to digest those newsletters and provide you a first-hand entry point for consuming all that amazing content. My hope is to build a community of avid newsletter readers that will help us all learn and grow as tech professionals.
